Kingfisher 16" Pond Yacht

We import these beautifully handmade pond yachts from England. It was important for us to find a boat that is a true, fully functional craft, and not just a toy. Something you can freesail in the park and then display later in your home.

Retaining the elegant, traditional lines of an English pond yacht, the hull is hand-carved from lightweight African hardwood. As ballast, the yacht features a stainless steel fin that keeps the center of gravity low, providing excellent straight-line stability.

The 16" KINGFISHER is fitted with classic cotton sails that not only ensure smooth sailing but also allow for easy mast folding during shipping or if you need to transport it with the mast down. Each yacht comes with hand-painted pinstripes and a brass nameplate, along with a hardwood display stand.

Google Maps has links to many lakes across the country specifically for model boats, and I’m sure there are more yet to be discovered. They also work well in a pool.
